Terms of use

Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else is using it, tell us straight away.

If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to use Jeli.

Please don't:

• post anything false, hateful, harassing or illegal, or pretend to be someone else;
• present yourself as a mentor, employer or institution you are not;
• try to get into other people's accounts or parts of Jeli you are not allowed to use;
• scrape, overload or interfere with the service;
• use the AI coaches to produce harmful content or to cheat on assessed work where that isn't allowed.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Jobs, gigs and projects are posted by other organisations, and mentors are members of the community. We do our best to keep listings genuine, but we don't guarantee any role, outcome or piece of advice. Check an opportunity yourself before sharing personal details or paying anyone. Jeli will never ask you to pay to apply for a job.

Jeli's AI coaches and tutor can be wrong. Treat their answers as help, not as professional, legal, financial or immigration advice, and check anything important. How chats are handled is explained in our privacy policy.

What you write and upload stays yours. You let us store and display it so Jeli can work (for example, showing a mentor's public card or sending your application to an employer). You can delete it at any time.

Courses, lessons and other material on Jeli belong to AfroGrad or the people who made them. You can use them for your own learning. Please don't copy or resell them without permission.

Paid plans are not open yet. When they are, prices will be shown in Ghana cedis before you pay, payments will be handled by Paystack, and the terms for renewals, cancellations and refunds will be set out here first.

We work to keep Jeli available and accurate, but it is provided as it is and may sometimes be unavailable or change. To the extent the law allows, AfroGrad is not responsible for indirect losses from using Jeli.

You can stop using Jeli at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
